Monarch offers Fun and Affordable Riding Experiences to Riders of All Ages.
Whether You’re a Seasoned Rider…Always Wanted to Learn…or Somewhere in Between…Riding is a Healthy Sport for a Lifetime!
Riding and caring for horses introduces all people to an increased sense of commitment and responsibility. Young people who ride horses are less inclined to become involved in “at-risk” behaviors, and will usually retain their love of horses and riding throughout their lives.
Get Comfortable!
Monarch is a friendly, comfortable environment designed to appeal to all riders, of all ages, regardless of experience and skill level. We understand that not all horse enthusiasts desire to enter into competition. We don’t mind competing...but we’re mostly here to have fun!
|
Upcoming Events Having attended Granite State, Maine Morgan and the New England Regional Morgan shows, Monarch's team riders have all qualified for the Grand Nationals this fall. Congratulations to Neena, Tasha, Kristi, Maggie, Karen and Emily. Special thanks to Lizzie for keeping the team on-track before during and after the shows. And we can't forget to thank Jocelyn and Bristol who make sure that the MHF stables are well-maintained whether the team is at home or on the road. Daycamp is full and there are just a few more weeks left. Then we get back to "normal". Once school starts, there will be slots available for lessons. Book early. They fill fast.

Join Monarch Morgan Youth Group!
All youth in our area are encouraged to come and join the Monarch Morgan Youth Group, affiliated with the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA). It is a great place to meet individuals interested in the horses, and the perfect way to become involved with the Morgan breed – be involved with fun activities, learn new skills, and make new friends. When you become an AMHA youth member you can take part in events such as Youth of the Year and Horsemastership along with projects that benefit both your club, and your community. You don’t even have to own a horse to participate!
|
The Monarch Morgan Youth Group offers an excellent opportunity for young people to become involved in volunteer activities that provide public services and raises funds for horse-related and non-horse-related community scholarships and other charitable endeavors.
The MMYG offers positive developmental assets to individuals as they work together on projects as members of various committees, and as officers of the club. Experience in this group will enhance a young person's leadership and group dynamics skills for a lifetime.
